"I am a resident of St. Paul's Apartment Community and my husband is a resident of St. Paul's Nursing Home.   I find it very convenient living here as I don't have a car but I can still visit with him daily without worrying about the weather since the two facilities are connected by an all-weather bridge.   On special occasions, the staff can bring him to visit me.   We are both happy with the arrangement and my husband gets good care by the nursing facility staff. "My apartment in St. Paul's has proved to be exactly what I need.   When the time comes that one must find a simpler way of life, an apartment holds the answers to many concerns.   Taking one's old familiar furniture makes it feel like "home."   A well-equipped kitchen makes it possible to avoid dressing to go out for breakfast.   For the other two meals I find company and good food a convenient and comfortable way to avoid what might have been loneliness, and a chance to enjoy new neighbors.   The meals offer a variety and a choice for many different needs.   It is fun, too, being served by a really efficient and cheerful staff.   The Activities personnel provide rides to shops and appointments, as well as interesting programs and decorations.   We're even freed from cleaning, by another group of capable helpers.   The storage space is ample, for clothing and anything else we might have brought.

Security is tight, with locked doors to keep out strangers, but an efficient phone system to allow our friends admission.   With efficient and caring office personnel, we feel we have found the right answer to retirement."    Grace
